Once you've populated your EndNote 20 library with sources, you may want to spend some time arranging them in ways that work best for you. You can store and manage your sources in Standard and Smart Groups, and these can be arranged as Group Sets.
Marking up and annotating sources for which you may have full text PDF attachments is easy, and enables you to manage these from directly inside your EndNote 20 library. This functionality allows you to:
Highlight sections of text.
Underline and/or strike out passages of text.
Add Sticky Notes in which you can record your thoughts, impressions, and ideas for use, all of which are retained within the PDF.
Annotations and added notes are automatically saved within each PDF, and remain within the document if these are shared online or via email.
