EndNote allows you to connect directly to the online catalogues and digital resources of a large selection of institutions around the globe, enabling you to import citation records straight from the sources.

To search online:

1. Select the Online Search resource from the left-hand menu.
2. Specify which part of the citation record you wish to search (author, title, journal, keywords, etc.).
3. Enter your search terms into the relevant search field and click Search.
4. Browse and select items from your search results using the check boxes on the left-hand side.
5. Click the + icon, on the upper right-hand side of the screen, underneath the Search button.
6. Selected references will be added to your library.
