he focus of Archivum Eurasiae Medii Aevi is on the political, social, economic and linguistic history of the peoples of the Eurasian steppes and adjoining regions from late antiquity to the Mongol Empire and its successor states. Among its primary concerns are questions regarding the Iranian steppe peoples, the Huns, the Oghur and Bulghar Turkic peoples, the Sabirs, the Avars, the Khazars and other peoples of the Türk Empire, the Hungarians, Pechenegs, Cumans and peoples of the Mongol Empire. The periodical also touches on many points in the history of the Slavic world, Crimea, Byzantium, Iran, the Caucasus, the lands of Islam and the peoples of Central and Northern Europe, and it elucidates various questions of Turkic and steppe history.

Bizantinistica costituisce la Seconda Serie della precedente Rivista di Studi Bizantini e Slavi, edita da Pátron Editore dal 1981, poi Rivista di Bizantinistica (1991-1994).Pubblicata per i tipi della Fondazione Centro Italiano di studi sull’alto Medioevo di Spoleto, vanta un comitato scientifico internazionale ed è autorizzata a portare il logo dell’Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.

Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies is an internationally recognised, peer-reviewed journal and one of the leading publications in its field. Published twice a year in spring and autumn, its remit is to facilitate the publication of high-quality research and discussion in all aspects of Byzantine and Modern Greek scholarship, whether historical, literary or social-anthropological. The journal welcomes research, criticism, contributions on theory and method in the form of articles, critical studies and short notes.

The Byzantinische Zeitschrift is the leading journal in the field of Byzantine Studies. It publishes articles and reviews on all aspects of Byzantine literature, history, society, and culture. Each issue of the journal contains a large bibliographic section. This so-called III. Abteilung serves as the standard bibliography in Byzantine Studies.

Byzantion is an international peer reviewed journal founded in 1924; it is devoted to Byzantine culture and covers literature, history and art history, including the related disciplines. Every volume contains scholarly articles followed by a large bibliographical section. Byzantion highly contributes to the development of Byzantine Studies.

The annual journal Dumbarton Oaks Papers was founded in 1941 for the publication of articles relating to late antique, early medieval, and Byzantine civilization in the fields of art and architecture, history, archeology, literature, theology, law, and the auxiliary disciplines. Numerous maps, tables, illustrations, and color plates provide supplementary information for many of the articles.

GRBS is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal devoted to the culture and history of Greece from Antiquity to the Renaissance, featuring research on all aspects of the Hellenic world from prehistoric antiquity through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, including studies of modern classical scholarship.

Praised as "a magnificent scholarly journal" by Choice magazine, Journal of Modern Greek Studies is the only scholarly periodical to focus exclusively on modern Greece. The Journal publishes critical analyses of Greek social, cultural, and political affairs, covering the period from the late Byzantine Empire to the present. Contributors include internationally recognized scholars in the fields of history, literature, anthropology, political science, Byzantine studies, and modern Greece. Journal of Modern Greek Studies is the official publication of the Modern Greek Studies Association (MGSA).

The Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies publishes articles informed by historical inquiry and alert to issues raised by contemporary theoretical debate. The journal fosters rigorous investigation of historiographical representations of European and western Asian cultural forms from late antiquity to the seventeenth century. Its topics include art, literature, theater, music, philosophy, theology, and history, and it embraces material objects as well as texts; women as well as men; merchants, workers, and audiences as well as patrons; Jews and Muslims as well as Christians.

It has also been called “the eighth wonder of the world” by East Roman Philon as far back as the 6th century.The researchers, reports and the articles, written in this Almanac,represent short but important summary of the works performed in the museum."

The İstanbul Archaeological Museums, which is housing various artifacts from civilizations that had left their traces to different periods of the history, is one of the 10 most important world-class museums designed and used as a museum building.The first of the Annual of the Istanbul Archaeological Museums was published in 1934.

Originally, it mainly focused on the relations of the Byzantine Empire and the Slavic nations studying them in context of various disciplines including political and ecclesiastical history, philology, literature, law, art history and ethnology. Beside articles it published also reviews, editions of shorter primary sources and reports on congresses and events relevant to the field. The board emphasized the idea that Byzantinoslavica would inspire international cooperation between Czech and international scholars worldwide.
This vision materialized more fully when beginning with volume IX/1947, the scope of the journal broadened to include the whole range of subjects relevant to Byzantine Studies. At this time, Byzantinoslavica also became an international journal and received a new title, Byzantinoslavica – Revue internationale des études byzantines.

Sobornost is a theological journal published by the Fellowship of St Alban and St Sergius. It publishes articles on "the life and thought of the Eastern Churches and their relationship with Western Christendom." In 1979, Sobornost incorporated the Eastern Churches Review.

Çağdaş toplumbilimlerin önde gelen araştırma alanlarının başında bir kent tasarımı olarak İstanbul geliyor. Arkeolojiden tarihe, sanattan edebiyata, din kültüründen gündelik hayata uzanan geniş araştırma yelpazesinde, insanlığın temel sorularına yanıtı bu kent veriyor. Yanıtımız, eğer sorunlar yumağını İstanbul ölçeğinde çözmek ise, o zaman farklı düşünce ve yaklaşımların birbiriyle tartışacağı ortak bir paydaya ihtiyaç var demektir. İşte İstanbul Araştırmaları Yıllığı, bu ihtiyacı, çağdaş bilimsel düşünce açısından karşılamak amacıyla yayın hayatına giriyor.
