Read and Publish Agreements for Open Access Publishing

Koç University is participating in the read and publish agreement between Springer Nature and TÜBİTAK, meaning that corresponding authors* affiliated with Koç University are eligible to publish their articles Open Access with fees covered in Springer Nature's portfolio of 810 hybrid journals.

Publications of the "Original Article", "Review Article" and "Continuing Education" types in the Q1 and Q2 Group Springer Nature Hybrid Journals in the Web of Science (SCI, SSCI, AHCI) will be within the scope of OA support.

• You must be affiliated with Koç University.
• You must be the corresponding author^* of the article.
• You must explicitly state your primary affiliation in the published manuscript, which is the Koç University at which the bulk of the research for the article was conducted.
• You must identify yourself during the author identification process (you will be asked to do this once your article has been accepted for publication). The institution selected during this process should be your primary affiliation, as this is the institution that TÜBİTAK will refer to in order to verify your eligibility.
• •The universities will share the national annual OA article publishing quota. In 2024, the upper limit is 2.421 articles for Springer Journals.
