IES (Industrial Engineering Society) 2001-2002 döneminde Mühendislik Kulübü alt topluluğu olarak kurulmuştur.
2005 yılında ise Koç Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği ve Teknoloji Kulübü adıyla bağımsız bir kulüp statüsüne kavuşmuştur.
Endüstri mühendisliği ve yöneylem araştırmalarıyla ilgili son yenilikleri takip edip üyeleriyle paylaşmayı,
üyelerine endüstri mühendislerinin potansiyel çalışma alanlarını tanıtmayı ve onları bu sektörlerin en önde gelen isimleriyle bir araya getirmeyi amaçlamıştır.
2012-2013 döneminde kulübümüz bir yenilenme sürecine girmiş ve Industrial Engineering Society adını almıştır.
