Affordable and Clean Energy plays an important role, from poverty eradication to combating climate change, and are crucial to achieving nearly all SDGs.
Many people worldwide do not have access to electricity and continue to rely on polluting fuels and technologies. Goal 7 highlights issues such as accelerating electricity, increasing investments in renewable energy sources, and improving electricity grids to ensure everyone can access clean energy by 2030.
