Ancient Greek Coinage

The numismatic heritage of a country is as important as other aspects of its culture.  Coins come with images of social, religious, economic and cultural life, signifying some of the most memorable and prestigious figures of different time periods.

Greek coins have been found both in Greece as well as in several Greek colonies and in some cases, due to merchandise, in other parts of the ancient world.
