OpenAthens: Remote Access to Library E-resources
OpenAthens is an identity and IP-based authentication system that provides access to the library's licensed online resources via single sign-on (SSO) technology. Replacing previous systems VPN and Proxy with OpenAthens is provided and integrated by Suna Kıraç Library and IT Directorate.
OpenAthens offers a more secure, reliable, and seamless experience for Koç University Suna Kıraç Library users and will resolve the access problems many users have been experiencing.
Authentication often works seamlessly, when you are on campus. However, accessing electronic resources off campus you will involve the extra step of signing in using KU SSO Authentication, especially when connecting via inKuire.
