The entrepreneurship definition

                            Entrepreneurship refers to the concept of developing and managing a business venture in order to gain profit by taking several risks in the corporate world. Simply put, entrepreneurship is the willingness to start a new business.

A new venture is a response to a new business opportunity, e.g. the creation of a new company to exploit business opportunities in an emergent market. At a minimum, this process has the following stages:

  1. opportunity recognition;

  2. strategy development;

  3. specification of the venture's requirements and potential;

  4. assembly of the resources and financing, and

  5. starting the venture.
