The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals. Suna Kıraç Library adopts these goals and implies & updates its services according to them. BookSwap is not something new to Suna Kıraç Library. However, now, we aim to continue this action more systematically and to reach more KU members.

This mobility have two pillars; The first will involve the swap of literature books, the second will be the swap of textbooks.

• For the literature books, bring the books you want to swap to the Library and participate in the sustainability movement. Our Book Swap stand awaits you on Tuesdays between 13.00 - 16.00 during May 2023!
• For the textbooks that are in good condition and that you no longer need bring to the library before you go on summer vacation. We will continue collecting textbooks until Fall 2023 and initiate the first Textbook Swap in October 2023.

SKL BookSwap is only for KU members.

Please keep in mind that you should bring books with appropriate contents and in good condition.

We do not accept;

• Magazines, newspapers
• Books with library logos
