Library First Year Experience Program

Are you an international student new to Koç University? In Suna Kıraç Library, we have librarians chosen to communicate and help specific groups of students, and they are called liaison librarians. Starting from Fall 2025, we have also selected a liaison for International students, and she is your primary link to all library services!

How to communicate with your liaison?

• You can e-mail her at zcamuscu@ku.edu.tr,
• You can call her from her office number: 0212 338 1660 (use only 1660 if you are calling from a landline within the school).
• You can get an appointment via email and visit her at her office, room 206, on the 2nd floor of the library.

We know that you are excited to discover Istanbul and all it offers. Koç University campus and Suna Kıraç Library are beautiful and spacious with multiple amenities and services,  but we know that sometimes you will be looking for alternative places to study to have a change of atmosphere.

Therefore, we wanted to compile a list of public libraries you can visit and study in Istanbul. You are lucky; due to the rising popularity of libraries, Istanbul and district municipalities have focused their attention on transforming, renovating, and building libraries in recent years.
