Suna Kıraç Library Researcher Development Program

This libguide is prepared to inform KU researchers about the services available to them.

Online Courses

Library's online courses are available on Blackboard and Moodle platforms.

Online courses offered by the Library are noncredit compulsory courses prepared to support different student groups at different levels and aspects.

Enrollment in this course is by invitation only.

The LIBR500 is available to graduate students who have chosen it on KUSIS. After the selection, students will receive an email from onlineprograms-noreply@ku.edu.tr. 

LIBR500 supports the development of graduate students and to assists them during their research processes.

The course modules will be available weekly. Each week there will be an online Q&A session related to that week’s subject.

LIB101 consists of five modules which can be accessed from Blackboard.

LIB101 Online Library Instruction is a part of UNIV1O1 Seminars. Students should gather 30 points to complete UNIV1O1 and get one credit. Students should complete LIB101 to be able to take LIB102.

LIB102 consists of three modules which can be accessed from Blackboard.

LIB102 Online Library Instruction is a part of UNIV1O1 Seminars. Students should gather 30 points to complete UNIV1O1 and get one credit. Students should complete LIB101 to be able to take LIB102.

The seminars included in the program are open to KU Community and are organized every semester. In addition to the seminars offered by the librarians, invited speakers can also participate.

Library Video Hub

Library Video Hub was launched in 2020, during the pandemic, to help KU Community watch the seminar recordings whenever available. Library Video Hub has four sections; in addition to the Researcher Development Webinars part, there are Course Embedded Videos, How To, and Library Orientations. 

You should use your KU Net ID and passwords to watch the videos added on this page.

Scholar Studio Talks

Scholar Studio Talks | Koç University

Scholar Studio Talks is a project specifically designed for masters and doctoral students to publicize their research and present their topic to a non-specialist audience. Students are expected to present their research in a short time (5 minutes for doctoral students and 10 minutes for master students) and deliver their presentations in a concise, clear, and catchy way.
