Having published since 1997, Turkish Law Site is the first Turkish law site on the internet.

In this site, under World Constitutions Illustrated page and under World Constitutions link, original texts of 1924, 1945, 16961 and 1982 Turkish Constitutions as well as the amending laws promulgated by the government can be found. Among other constitutional documents pertaining Ottoman Empire era are, Constitution of the Ottoman Empire-1876, Firman and Hatti Scheriff of the Sultan concerning Privileges and Reforms in Turkey(Rescript of Reform 1856), Hatti Scheriff of the Sultan, concerning the Administration of the Otttoman Empire (Rescript of Gulhane 1839) can be found.

In this website many different legislation regarding Turkish law in different subjects can be found. These legislation are categorized by subject and content. For the most updated and current versions of these laws please refer to the websites of relevant ministries.

UYAP is basically the National Judiciary Informatics System of Ministry of Justice. UYAP is an e-justice system as a part of the e-government, which has been developed in order to ensure fast, reliable, soundly operated and accurate judicial system. As a central network project it includes all of the courts, public prosecutors services, prisons, other judicial institutions and other government departments in Turkey. UYAP, the most outstanding information system in Turkey, was prepared and established by MoJ to improve the functioning and efficiency of the judiciary and to create an effective and less bureaucratic judicial system for each concerned institutions and citizens.

This is a free of charge service provided by the Ministry of Justice to enable the right to equal representation before the courts. Through this service, the state undertakes to pay the court fees and trial costs in advance and asks from those who seek legal aid these amounts only in case of that party loses the case.
