Document Delivery

If a user can’t find an item – print or electronic – in the collections of the Koç University library system, we may be able to retrieve it via Document Delivery Services (DDS), from the collections of other university libraries.  In all cases, you will need to sign in your account first.

Interlibrary Loan Service for Books: To request a book, simply fill out an online interlibrary loan book request form.

Article Request Service: You can request articles via the online article request system. The request can also be used if you would like to request a copy of a chapter from a book, or a copy of a PhD dissertation.

Intercampus Circulation (ICL)Inter-Campus Loan Request circulates material among the main campus, Top Kapı Hospital Health Science Library and ANAMED Library.

Course Reserve collection

Course Reserve Collection: The Library Reserve system provides access to course materials (sample exams, syllabi, problem sets, reading packages, lecture notes, textbook, etc.) written or selected by faculty as required instructional materials.

Collection Development

Purchase Requests: You are welcome and encouraged to participate into the collection development, by placing your requests for new material.  If the Library does not own the title, please either fill out the purchase request form or send an e-mail with your request to libacq@ku.edu.tr. In either case, please provide full bibliographic information including, in the case of books, the ISBN number. Please also be sure to include your name, position and academic department.

You may also use print catalogs, with your selections clearly marked, forwarded via internal campus mail to the SKL Acquisitions Department. Please include your surname and first initial on the catalog.

Off Campus Access

Some electronic resources and Library services cannot be reached from outside the campus.  In that case, you will need to sign in using OpenAthens. Here is the related libguide link: OpenAthens: Remote Access to Library Resources
